Norma and Maritza arrive

Today I spent cleaning and straightening up my room. It looks amazing; I am so proud of myself. All it takes is a bit of imagination and some elbow grease and presto you have a living quarters.
But I digress...
My friend Norma and her other half Maritza decided it was time to get away from all their housework and rebuilding and take a few days off. They were gonna come down yesterday but weather didn't permit. But alas they hopped in their car and BOOM here they are.
Martiza or Norma never ate at Cracker Barrel so that's where we ended up. Thank God we didn't get that crazy chick from last time; and what is it about Miami people and Cracker Barrel. Seems like everyone wants to stop by and have a bite there.
Speaking of waitresses you will never believe the name of our waitress today...I'll give you a clue. She just gave me a very huge, very cute cat.
That's right her name was Lela but spelled with only the one e. I was so thrilled to have a Leela here that I popped out my camera and took a pic of her.
After our meal, Norma and Martiza came over to my new place of residence and I showed them around. They were very excited to meet Kitty Kitty because believe it or not...THEY HAVE A MAINE COON ALSO!!!
Thats right, of all the cats in this world, they have a Maine Coon also. I just about freaked when I found this out. Their cats name is Mr. Suzie and its a boy too. Wouldn't it be nice to get the 2 cats together to see if they can be friends?
Anyway that was the first night of Norma's visit. Tomorrow I have to get my Drivers License and Tag taken care of then I'll meet up with them and we'll go out for my birthday.
At work they have it where you take your own cake to work so I know I'll definitely have cake. Seems someone really didn't like the cake they got one year so they set up a rule that you bring whatever you want. That way you know your happy. Yeah it does seem to be a bit of a cop-out and a bit weird but if that's what the rules are; who am I to say anything. As long as I get my cheesecake. :)
