Kitty Kitty's first kut

Today was one heck of a "Hair Raising" day.
Seems like everyone but me was getting their hair chopped!
Mom went to the salon First Choice which is some chain haircuttery down here and chopped off most of her hair. She looks real cute with short hair as you'll see in the picks.
But what is really Hair Raising is little Kitty Kitty going to the groomers today.
All week I've been waiting for today to bring Kitty in. He really needed to get a hair cut since being a Maine Koon their hair tends to clump up and start to pull and even tear their skin. Well not my baby, no sir not him. I was hellbent on getting that hair off, and boy did I. LOL
He now looks like a freakish Lion that's been on a diet for awhile. But I have to admit he's still all soft and cutesy.
I had him in his cage and you should've heard him begging to get out. It was so cute and sweet hearing him Purr and bicker to get outta that contraption. But fear not cat lovers, he was set free afterwards and is doing quite fine now.
The ladies at AA Pet Supply were very sweet and nice but when I dropped off Kitty they asked for my cell number. I told them thatI left it home and I'll need to go back to get it. They said not to worry that it'd be awhile till I needed it. Me and Mom were both asking ourselves how long Kitty was gonna be locked up in that cage before he was set free. Well it was 11:45ish when we dropped him off and we got the call to pick him up around 4. My poor little boob was all caged up for all that time. :(
But here he is all shaved and soft and freaky looking.

B.I.N.G.O and bingo was his name-o
Have I turned into an old geezer or was I one all the while.
Let me explain.
Mom and I have a new plan on Saturday's. We start out running out of the house to get to Bingo on time. (it starts at 11 pm and we usually get up at 10:45:). I never rally liked Bingo cause it's very intense. Having to pay so much attention to all these rows of numbers is not a fun afternoon for me. Or at least it wasn't.
Now I'm the one telling my mom to get up and get ready. I'm the one who's got the dabbers ready and everything set up to go.
Dabbers are the inkers that you use to cross out your number on your bingo card. Believe it or not, you have to use it or your bingo card becomes forfeit. And Mom and I have gone all over town looking for these things with little to no luck at all. At Wal-Mart they run 2 for a dollar but at the bingo hall they run for 1.25 for one. And before you start to say...so it's only a 1.25... let me tell you that a whole game of bingo can cost you a dollar so your losing a whole game by buying a dabber.
See what I mean by me becoming an old geezer. Yeesh! It's only a dollar. I need a life.
So at the bingo hall there's this old guy who has to get his way. There is also a TV screen displaying the numbers on the balls to play with. Well this guy wanted to shut off the first row of lights so he can see the TV screen better, but that left the room to dark for my mom to see her cards.
WELL I shouted out "Hey now my mom can't see. Sorry you'll have to put the lights back on."
This caused such a scene as the old guy started shouting "I come here all the time and I play here all the time and I can't see the screen!"
Well if he came there all the time why didn't he pick a better table to sit on?
And then all the little old ladies started to attack us saying..."Can't they move? He can't see the screen."
I thought they would be on my side since the dark room would effect them too.
I guess the game is on. It's me against the old fart. Start your engine on your scooter chair buddy cause now it's war. ;)
After that Mom and I will go to the movies or shopping or something but Bingo is becoming my fav past time.
What will I do next? Start taking Sweet-n-Low packets from Bob Evans or Perkins!

Somewhere over that Rainbow!!!
Did anyone happen to that beautiful rainbow over I-75 yesterday.
I'm not sure if anyone in Miami saw it so please let me know if you did.
It was so beautiful all bright in the sunny sky.
I have never seen a rainbow that wasn't mixed in a cloudy, rainy sky.
Yesterday the sky was so bright and sunny and BAM!!! there's this huge colorful rainbow just filling up the sky in all its splender.
I didn't have my camera so I couldn't show you but maybe someone has a photo that they would like to share.
Either way look up someday and maybe you too can see the rainbows in the sky.
News for our Soldiers
I just heard something that has me so shocked that I to put it out there to see how many other people knew this.
It seems that our soldiers that are fighting for us over seas have to pay for all their belongings.
Now before I continue I wanted to say that at least 3 people that I work with did not know this and I work with 5 with one of them being a mother of a soldier!
So you might be saying...Pay for their belongings? What does that mean?
Well image your a soldier getting ready to be shipped over seas to defend the land of the free and home of the brave but you need a uniform to fight in.
Well don't worry cause Uncle Sam will pay for that first one and even throw in a couple of underwear and socks.
But say you need another one cause while you're in training camp you get some dirt on your new uniform, and you don't have time to wash your clothes. Well time to pay up cause the second one's on you!
But what's this I hear. You'll need to have a dress uniform also. Pull out the wallet private!
Need a haircut cause you're hair has to be a certain length...Don't worry Uncle Sam has to pay for that...Right?
NOT!
Nope the soldiers have to pay for their haircuts too.
They also have to pay for their socks, boots, toothbrushes, stamps, stationery and everything else they may need!
The only thing they get is that first uniform. Everything else is on them.
I understand in times of peace that the Armed Forces are more of a job than anything and the government does pay our soldiers, but in times of war they should get everything free.
EVERYTHING!
Thank you for your time and letting me vent a bit.
I would love to know your opinion about this so if you just read my blog but don't comment that's fine but this time I would like a comment.

9/11 remembered with a note to Anna Nicole Smith too.
Just a small note to say that this day is remembered and will never be forgotten.
A side note to Anna Nicole Smith. Happy to hear about the new baby girl and I'm glad your son was there for her birth. His death, although still a mystery, is a shock to us all.
Please stay strong for your baby girl and our prayers are out there for you.

NB picks up finally!
The room I was sleeping in was so dark and cold I felt like I was in a real luxury suite. I felt so special.
Then reality hit and I knew that it was my last day and that in just a few hours I would be heading home. :(
Dean ,who was missing from game night (did he know something that I didn't...humm?), finally woke up and we chatted a bit.
He tells me about how sick he was because he mixed wine with medication and I tell him everything is fine. (and it is)
He says he wants to get a bite to eat and bing bing bing it's time to call NB for the last time.
Please say yes NB I don't wanna go back without seeing you.
I pick up the house phone cause my cell died and I forgot to bring my charger and dial NB's home.
Will he pick up? Will he still be mad? Will I see him before I go?
"Hello" says Nb and I say HI back.
Then the ranting and raving goes on for a few minutes about how he's ruined my good name on his blog and how now everyone hates me and how dare I not invite him out on Saturday and blah blah blah....
After he finishes I try to explain how it was all a misunderstanding and how I want t o see him before I go back.
I know I think I'm the M in S and M. ;)
We kissed and made up and met for lunch in the Grove at Frick and Friar an English Pub in the Grove but they didn't have Bangers and Mash so we decide to take advantage and leave to meet Leela in Dadeland Mall. Did you get all that?
Flash-forward to us in Dadeland's Cheesecake Factory waiting 70 minutes for a table. Wow how I love Port Charlotte. Great restaurants with no wait time.
Anyway I said I would try to help dress Eric cause I have a gift of knowing what colors look good on people and finding great prices to boot.
So Leela, Eric and I leave NB and Dean to go shopping. Paybacks a bitch honey. ;)
I found Eric 5 shirts, a belt, shorts and a pair of jeans all for 180.00!
And one of the shirts is being sent back cause it was a simple short sleeve shirt that costs 50 bucks. I wasn't there when they were paying or that bitch would've been sent back in a flash.
But I did find this killer Mobster looking shirt for 10 bucks. But the best of all were the jeans. See eric is a size 34' 34 and that is a real hard size to find. After many attemps we had to get back to NB and Dean so it was no jeans for poor Eric. As we were heading to the cashier my hand fell apon a pair of jeans that were not only 34' 34 but were fitted (he's a tall guy and relaxed jeans fall funny on him) AND they were name brand. Polo jeans baby.
Now for the cherry on the top. Those jeans cost 15 bucks baby...yeah!
I still got it! Recognize!
The meal was so nice except for NB snapping at me about leaving him to shop.
All I could say was Sorry. Sorry Sorry Sorry.
I stayed way too long and had to head home in rain so bad that most of the trip I had my hazards on.
So that was my trip back to Miami.
And I can't wait to do it again... Maybe in a few weeks for Leela's House Warming.
That's right boys and gals Leela is buying a home.
Yeah I got a place to stay when I return to the place of my birth.
Sweet!
Sunday was Game Night!
Today was supposed to be game night but many things happened to destroy my perfect night.
Let's start at the beginning when I finally woke up.
That would have been around 1 pm and boy was I hungry. Thankfully Leela's dad had cooked some eggs that were so damn good...OHHHH I can still taste them. And the Indian tea was very smooth and fit perfectly with the eggs.
After me and Leela ate she went into her email to get my e-cards that I sent her. And before anyone says anything they are not the cheap free ones. I pay for the service so I can get the good ones. And she loved all 5 of them.
Well it was time to start my day so I figured I'd call NB and see if he was still pissed. Seemed like he got over it and took a trip to KEY WEST! Yeah that's right he decided to spend the sunday in the Keys. I have no problem with him taking the time off in fact I loved that he did (he works to hard sometimes) but what I didn't get was him snapping at me again and hanging up on me twice!
What did I do so wrong except try to invite him over so I can see him 2 DAYS IN A ROW!
Well guess he isn't coming to game night. ;)
Next we head over to Sam's Club to buy food for the night. When we get there it total chaos because you can't have 3 hungry, food obsessed people shop for fun food for game night.
You know what I never did get my coconut shrimp! Damn you Leela and Deese... Damn you all to hell!
Hey is that a monkey talking over there?
Christy was supposed to be here with us but the night before she split her pinky toe by smashing it into her ottoman. Not a pretty sight.
So we ending up getting desert pastries and finger pastries and snicker ice cream bars and cheese sticks and chicken strips. And chili that I came up with, thank god we had some "real food" there. ;)
Game night turned into watching Janelle kick ass on Big Brother All Stars then us sitting around chatting.
Somewhere along the night Ernie comes into the room and says Eric's car was just hit. I say "Right" but in fact it turns out his car was hit. (I told Eric to park up along side Ernie's truck)
Seems the neighbors across the street were moving a sofa and the end of it hit into Eric's rear light. Thankfully only the light was damaged but still that car is Eric's baby.
Maybe Jackie was stalking him and choose to enact revenge for last night.
JUST JOKING! but it is a thought since we never did see the car that actually hit Eric's.
So our game night turned out to be this game called "Catch Phrase" which is way to complicated to explain.
Suffice to say that it worked much better when we all just joined together than to be on separate teams and leave it at that.
The night ended with Leela going home with Eric and me going to sleep at her dad's place. (seems her and Eric only get so much time to spend together and she wanted to make the most of it)
So its not too late today but I am spent so it sleepy time.
Let's see if NB will meet up with me tomorrow?
Leela's 30th birthday bash in Las Olas
When I made it to Miami I was starving to death. Driving for 3 hours straight does that to you. I was looking forward to dropping off my bag getting together with Leela and Dean and Deese and also NB who I had been keeping in touch with.
Well when I got into town Leela and Dean were getting their fuc%!*$ nails done and I was left with an empty stomach. When I asked them if they wanted to grab a bite they said with a silly little smile..."We already ate."
ARRGGG!!!!
Well what I would do now would be to get the nights info down then pop off to NB's cause he's always hungry.
After about an hour (or at least it felt like that) I finally figured out what the night would be like.
YAY now I'll call NB and go get something to feed this animal called my hunger pains.
ME: Hey Leela already ate so they don't wanna go get anything to eat.
NB: What! I've been waiting all this time for you! BAM goes the phone.
ME: hello nb you there? cause my starvation sure is.
Seemed like NB was a bit mad that I left him waiting but really I would find out later is that he thought I didn't want to eat anymore.
Obviously he forgot how significant my hunger pains could be.
So after Leela's dad fed me some homemade soup (3 bowls full) I was ready for the night.
We started out going to Las Olas in the Riverwalk part and met up with Terry!
I missed Terry so much and she brought her new man and ONYX!!!
Wow this was gonna be a fabulous night indeed.
After a little dancing and a whole lotta drinking, we decide to head off somewhere else.
Where we ended was Hard Rock Casino where Deese won 180.00 in a freaking slot machine!
YOU GO GIRL!!!!
Of course Ernie cashed out right away and say "Hell No baby I need Tires!"
Well poor Eric had to get a call from Jackie and forgot to mention he was in a car with Leela and boy was he sorry he didn't "Say her name".
Everything worked itself out after many tense moments and after the fact that this absolutely flawless bracelet from Jared's was still twinkling on her wrist.
A bracelet that was SOOOOO built up that Eric is damn lucky it was flawless.
Good going BTW. It as a perfect gift for a perfect woman.
But the night would have been a total bust if not for the special guest star...Vivian who brought with her a bunch of PORN from Hustler that was so damn good it even had me excited.
Way to go Viv!
That Porn was very nice and when all those cars drove by pointing and yelling out their windows their thankfulness; I felt like a freakin' STAR!
The night was very nice and it was sweet seeing everyone, but I was sad that NB was mad at me. :(
Maybe I'll get to see him tomorrow?
But for now its like 6 in the morning and I'm tired as hell.
Nighty night all.
On my way to Miami....
So many things to say where do I start.
Well of course at the beginning. :)
I left my house and started out on I75 around 11 am. I idmediatedly noticed that I only had 1/2 a tank of gas and would need to fill 'er up before I headed out.
Now I work in Sarasota where the gas is at an amazingly low 2.59 a gallon so I was really looking to spend somewhere near that price.
Unfortunately Port Charlotte has gas at 2.85 so in my eyes that just wasn't going to work.
My plan at that point was to get gas "Somewhere down the line" probably in Naples.
Flashforward to Naples and me getting off to find a place to go.
Naples really sucks for anyone looking to get gas. Remember that please cause I don't want someone going through what I did just to get some gas...which was having to drive halfway into the city just to pay 2.99 a gallon. AARGGGG!!!!!!!
Next time I'll just get gas before I head out and I suggest you do the same.
Damn these gas prices!!!!
